How Sweet the Smell… of a New Magazine
Ah, magazines…

I don’t know what it is about them I love so much. Maybe it’s the smell? Who doesn’t love the fresh scent of printed paper—and those perfume samples?
Okay so maybe the smell isn’t for everyone, but I guarantee there is a magazine for everyone. Pretty much any subject you could ever dream up has it’s own magazine, even obscure interests. Don’t believe me? Just Google [insert interest here] magazine. If there isn’t an official print magazine associated with it, there’s almost always an unofficial online-style zine.
So while I may not actually subscribe to all of my various interests’ magazines (I simply couldn’t afford it), I have been known to spend hours at the local bookstore perusing the newsstand. It may not be top quality literature, but what can
A Lil Bit For Students…And A Lot For Mum
Ok. I hate to be the one so obviously raining on my readers’ collective parades, but it must mentioned that it is back-to-school time. Well, now that I think about it, you mums out there are likely sighing in relief, while the kiddies are moaning and groaning up a storm of their own. And so how can I gear this towards the indignant youth about to be pushed back into their studies, and towards the relived parents, willing to fork over some back-to-school pounds just to get a piece of mind? I figure I’m gonna split the bill as they say, and give you both the heads’ up on some goods.
Ok, mums, I’ll start with you! Eyesight is one of those issues that only gets worse with time. Once you need them, you always need them, and back-to-school time is a great time to get a fresh
Hello, My Name is Lauren and I’m Addicted to Office Supplies
I don’t know about anyone else, but office supply stores are a guilty pleasure of mine. Call it an addiction, if you like.
Back in my school days I had an actual excuse for collecting pens and notebooks, but nowadays I have to be a wee bit more clever. Imagine my excitement when I found out that VoucherGurus is displaying a host of limited time Staples discounts and vouchers—I couldn’t make a mental list of supplies I want/need fast enough!
Fact: as a working woman, you can never have enough coffee. NESCAFÉ coffee is now at its lowest price ever (£16.49) with Staples voucher code JM-366133. You can bet that’s the first thing I loaded onto my virtual shopping cart—I’m a bit of a nightmare without my daily dose of caffeine. Trust me on this one.
As a writer in my spare
Make Staples Your Office Staple
I don’t know about you, but I’m not one to waste my time. If I’m looking for a specific item—let’s say a printer—I much prefer to shop at a place where I can also find a desk I can put my new printer on. Call me lazy. Call me efficient. Call me Ishmael.
This is the exact reason why I absolutely adore Staples. Anything you could possibly need for your office, you can find there. Let your employees plant their bottoms on the best office chairs around. In fact, Staples is currently running a buy one chair, get one free for select products!
Maybe we’re getting a little ahead of ourselves. After all, what can you do without the use of a computer these days? Get it all started with great deals on laptops—everything from HP and Compaq, to Toshiba and Packard Bell.
Give Back with Breast Cancer Awareness Purchases
Retailers the world over are doing their bit for Breast Cancer Awareness in the month of October. The team at VoucherGurus has come across a number of ways you can show your support for The Cure while still enjoying savings from select retailers, so we thought we’d share some ideas on how you can give, and receive, during Breast Cancer Awareness month.
For only £1.50 you can buy the Betty Jackson Crusade Pin (pictured) from Avon, and you can wear it knowing the full retail price will be paid to Breakthrough Breast Cancer, a registered charity. While you’re there you may as well stock up on your skincare needs, and enjoy a free shipping coupon when you spend £20 or more. Click here for more Avon promotions.
