Recapping the World Cup

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS to Spain!

It’s hard to believe that the 2010 FIFA World Cup is already over.  What am I (and plenty of you out there, I suspect) going to do with our lives now that we don’t have a semi-legitimate and socially acceptable reason to watch the telly and drink multiple times a week?

I suppose life will go on, but it’s going to take some getting used to.  I guess there’s always YouTube to relive some of the best moments…

Looking back, it goes without saying that I was disappointed with England’s performance.  When we actually tied the United States, I was beyond embarrassed.  BUT I didn’t let this stop me from enjoying the rest of the Cup.  After all, it was fun to root for Spain even though everyone was telling me they didn’t have a chance in hell against Germany and then again versus the Netherlands.  You’ve got to love the underdog!

If, like me, you aren’t ready to put the World Cup out of your head, there’s still plenty of football paraphernalia to acquire.

As before, in my Geared Up For The World Cup blog, I mentioned Kitbag and UKSoccerShop.com for some great deals on World Cup jerseys and accessories.  Those deals remain for the time being, plus now you can find fantastic exclusives on all Spain gear!

Be grateful of this because red, yellow and blue are far more attractive than orange!

And of course, be sure to visit VoucherGurus.co.uk first for Kitbag vouchers and UKSoccerShop discounts.

Is it just me who thinks that the Summer of 2014 can’t come soon enough?
