Get Rid of That Belt and Live Comfortably
I love summer for many reasons (who doesn’t?) but if there’s one drawback to great weather and days spent on the beach, it’s that I barely ever get a chance to wear my favourite article of clothing: jeans.
I remember when I was a little girl just trying on my first pair. I absolutely hated them! They chafed and were bloody uncomfortable. After getting used to the idea and realising that there’s a “breaking in” period with jeans, I discovered how much I liked them. Now it’s downright embarrassing how many pairs I own.
My boyfriend shares my enthusiasm—maybe not to the same degree, but he shares it nonetheless. He’s the one who introduced me to his favourite designer brand: Schultz Jeans. Besides being incredibly comfortable for him, they include a unique “Schultz strap”
Hello, My Name is Lauren and I’m Addicted to Office Supplies
I don’t know about anyone else, but office supply stores are a guilty pleasure of mine. Call it an addiction, if you like.
Back in my school days I had an actual excuse for collecting pens and notebooks, but nowadays I have to be a wee bit more clever. Imagine my excitement when I found out that VoucherGurus is displaying a host of limited time Staples discounts and vouchers—I couldn’t make a mental list of supplies I want/need fast enough!
Fact: as a working woman, you can never have enough coffee. NESCAFÉ coffee is now at its lowest price ever (£16.49) with Staples voucher code JM-366133. You can bet that’s the first thing I loaded onto my virtual shopping cart—I’m a bit of a nightmare without my daily dose of caffeine. Trust me on this one.

Recapping the World Cup
First of all, CONGRATULATIONS to Spain!
It’s hard to believe that the 2010 FIFA World Cup is already over. What am I (and plenty of you out there, I suspect) going to do with our lives now that we don’t have a semi-legitimate and socially acceptable reason to watch the telly and drink multiple times a week?
I suppose life will go on, but it’s going to take some getting used to. I guess there’s always YouTube to relive some of the best moments…
Looking back, it goes without saying that I was disappointed with England’s performance. When we actually tied the United States, I was beyond embarrassed. BUT I didn’t let this stop me from enjoying the rest of the Cup. After all, it was fun to root for Spain even though everyone was telling me they didn’t have a chance in hell
Fashion for Expecting Mums
A few months ago my best friend got married. The engagement was incredibly short, so I’d barely had time to get over the fact that she tied the knot when she announced she was pregnant.
Apprehensive at first, I’ve had a few months to get excited to welcome my God-Daughter into the world!
Now that I’m up to speed, I was shopping the other day and decided that maternity wear is pretty damn cute. It has come a long way since the frumpy, bag-like outfits of days past. Once at home, I hopped online to check out possible birthday presents for my expectant mother of a friend.
She’s not entirely huge, but that won’t last long. My first stop? Bumps Maternity, where great style collides with the comfort and ease of maternity wear. In addition, there’s some great practical baby
Procrastination Train: Next Stop Father’s Day
Is anyone else a last minute kind of person? The thrill of a deadline looming over me always caused inspiration to strike when I was in school, and I’m beginning to think that same kind of principle applies for my post-graduate self as well.
I’m not just referring to research papers and group projects, either. I’m talking online banking, credit card payments (I’ve never fully missed one, thankfully)—and yes—holiday shopping.
Some of you might reassure me that I have plenty of months to go before I need to concern myself with holiday shopping, but I’m not talking about those holidays. I’m much more concerned with Father’s Day, which is just around the corner.
To get some ideas flowing (not to mention savings), I went to VoucherGurus.co.uk and searched their selection of Read more →
